Placing the order from Belgium

We take orders from Belgium every week. The checkout asks for two sets of details — the person paying and the person receiving — and confusing them is the only common mistake:

  • Your side. Card name, street address, postcode and city and postcode / code postal go in the billing fields, nowhere else.
  • Their side. Name, street, city, BC, a Canadian postal code such as V6B 1A1, and the recipient's own phone number in the delivery fields — the driver or courier calls the recipient, never the buyer.
  • The message. The greeting card names you as the sender; the paperwork in the parcel shows no prices.

Money matters for a Belgium buyer

The price tagEvery price is CAD. The currency switcher can display EUR equivalents for orientation; the actual charge is still in CAD.
On your statementThe transaction is in Canadian dollars: gift, Canadian tax and the delivery fee for the recipient's address, shown up front. Conversion to euros — and any charge for it — is your bank's, at a rate the store neither sets nor sees.
CardsVisa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and JCB — the marks shown on the store on 2026-09-15. Cards issued in Belgium are accepted; the billing address must be the card's.
Border feesThere aren't any. The gift is domestic on the Canadian side, so customs, duty and import charges never come into it, and the recipient owes nothing.

When can it arrive?

Look up the BC address by the recipient's postal code: the live service behind the checkout answers with same-day or courier and a transit time.

Same-day across Vancouver and the Lower Mainland when ordered by 11:00 a.m. Pacific (free on orders over $100; otherwise $15.99–$19.99). Elsewhere in BC: courier from Vancouver, one to three business days, order by 2 p.m. Pacific; shipping shown at checkout.

Delivery timing, in your time

Read the deadlines in Pacific Time, the recipient's zone. Same-day (Vancouver and the Lower Mainland): order by 11:00 a.m. Pacific, any day; businesses receive no later than 5 p.m., homes no later than 9 p.m. Courier (rest of BC): order by 2 p.m. Pacific, Monday to Friday, to ship that day; one to three business days to arrive. For September 17, 2026, that means:

Time zoneSame-day cut-off (11:00 a.m. PT)Courier cut-off (2:00 p.m. PT)
Belgium (Europe/Brussels, CEST)8:00 p.m.11:00 p.m.

Today on this device: for same-day, for courier (your device's time zone: ).

Clock changes in Belgium or in BC alter the offset by an hour; the table is fixed to the date above, the line under it is live. The delivery date you choose at checkout is the recipient's, on the Pacific calendar — once Vancouver has passed 11 a.m., the soonest same-day date is tomorrow. No deliveries on Sept 30 (National Day for Truth and Reconciliation); Thanksgiving, Mon Oct 12; Remembrance Day, Nov 11; Christmas Day; Boxing Day; New Year's Day.

Language, characters and names

Belgium's languages are Dutch, French and German; our store, checkout and delivery labels are English.

  • Card message. Latin letters, any language — it's printed verbatim.
  • Your own details. Latin letters, as on the card statement.
  • Recipient details. Latin letters for the name and the Canadian address; the label and the courier's systems are English and can't verify another script at the door.
  • Numbers to call. Recipient: their Canadian number with area code, in the delivery fields. You: Belgium country code is fine.

Our most-ordered gifts

The first few have been sent from Belgium already; the rest are the store-wide favourites for BC, since Belgian orders are too few to rank. All in stock, priced in CAD.

Tracking, support and alcohol

Tracking your order

Use Order Tracking with the email address you ordered with and the postal code on the order. Brand-new orders sometimes lag by a few minutes — if yours doesn't appear, support can find it by the order number in your confirmation email.

Customer support

A person answers at customer support ([email protected], +1 (604) 636-0960) between 6:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Pacific, seven days a week, as the store states (read 2026-09-15). Your equivalent on September 17, 2026:

  • Belgium (CEST): 3:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m. the next day

The rules on alcohol

Sending a bottle to British Columbia is allowed when the person receiving it is 19 or above (the legal drinking age). Whoever takes it in must be 19+ and show photo ID; alcohol is never left unattended; courier deliveries need an adult signature; and an empty house means a re-attempt or a held parcel. Alcohol-free gourmet baskets and kosher wines are also on the store.

Answers for a sender in Belgium

Do you accept Belgian cards?

Yes: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and JCB, billed to your Belgian address. The amount is in Canadian dollars, converted by your card issuer.

Could the recipient get a bill for customs or delivery?

No — there's no border crossing, so no customs, duty or import fee. Delivery is free on orders over $100 in the same-day zone, and courier shipping is charged to you at checkout.

Same-day from abroad — really?

Yes, when the address is in Vancouver or the Lower Mainland and the order arrives by 11:00 a.m. Pacific that day (see the Belgium equivalent in the table). The rest of BC is courier: order by 2 p.m. Pacific, delivered in one to three business days.

Will it be left if they're out?

Yes for most gifts — in a safe place or with a neighbour, with a note to the recipient; couriers can do the same. Alcohol is never left: it's re-attempted or held.

Is there a way to see the order's progress?

Order Tracking on the store, using the email address you ordered with and the postal code on the order. If you need a person: chat, +1 (604) 636-0960 or [email protected], 6 a.m. – 5 p.m. Pacific, seven days a week, order number ready.
