Two addresses: yours in Denmark, theirs in BC

Ordering from Denmark is straightforward as long as the payer's and the recipient's details stay in their own fields:

  • Your side. Card name, street address, postnummer and city and postnummer go in the billing fields, nowhere else.
  • Their side. Name, street, city, BC, a Canadian postal code such as V6B 1A1, and the recipient's own phone number in the delivery fields — the driver or courier calls the recipient, never the buyer.
  • The message. The greeting card names you as the sender; the paperwork in the parcel shows no prices.

Paying from Denmark

Listed inCanadian dollars. The currency menu offers USD, GBP, EUR, AUD and JPY as approximations; Danish kroner isn't offered, so compare against the CAD figure.
BillingYou're billed in CAD, and checkout shows the whole figure (gift, Canadian sales tax, delivery for that address) before you confirm. The Danish kroner equivalent depends on your card provider's rate and fees, not the store's.
Payment methodsThe store shows Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and JCB (2026-09-15). Denmark-issued cards are fine; use the address the card is registered to.
No border costsBecause the basket is assembled and delivered within Canada there is no duty, customs or import charge, and the recipient owes nothing.

How soon can it get there?

Not your postcode — the recipient's Canadian one. The checkout's delivery service looks it up and tells you same-day or courier, and how long.

The 11:00 a.m. Pacific cut-off gives same-day delivery in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland (free over $100, else $15.99–$19.99); the 2 p.m. Pacific cut-off gets a courier parcel moving to the rest of BC, one to three business days away, with the rate at checkout.

Delivery timing, in your time

The clock that matters is the recipient's — Pacific Time. Vancouver and the Lower Mainland: same-day when the order lands by 11:00 a.m. Pacific, every day of the week, with businesses served no later than 5 p.m. and homes no later than 9 p.m. Rest of BC: courier, shipped the same day for orders by 2 p.m. Pacific (weekdays), one to three business days in transit. Translated into your time for September 17, 2026:

Today on this device: for same-day, for courier (your device's time zone: ).

Clock changes in Denmark or in BC alter the offset by an hour; the table is fixed to the date above, the line under it is live. The delivery date you choose at checkout is the recipient's, on the Pacific calendar — once Vancouver has passed 11 a.m., the soonest same-day date is tomorrow. No deliveries on Sep 30, Oct 12, Nov 11, Dec 25, Dec 26, Jan 1.

Language, characters and names

Danish and English are spoken in Denmark; the store and checkout are in English.

  • Message. Type it in whatever language you like, provided it's in Latin letters — what you type is what prints.
  • The payer's details. Latin letters, exactly as the card issuer has them.
  • Where it's going. The recipient's name and Canadian address in Latin letters; the delivery label is English and a name in another script won't be recognised at the door.
  • Telephones. Give the recipient's Canadian number with its area code in the delivery fields; yours can include the Denmark dialling code.

Tracking, help and the rules on alcohol

Following the order

The store's Order Tracking page wants the email address you ordered with and the postal code on the order. An order placed minutes ago can take a little while to show; if it stays missing, give support the order number from your confirmation.

Getting help

Help is at +1 (604) 636-0960 or [email protected] through the support page, 6:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time, seven days a week — the store's published hours (2026-09-15). Translated for September 17, 2026:

  • Denmark (CEST): 3:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m. the next day

Drinks: who can receive them

BC's legal drinking age is 19, and that is the only condition on sending wine, champagne, beer or spirits to an address in the province. On the doorstep the gift goes to someone 19+ with photo ID and to nobody else; it is never left unattended; a courier collects an adult's signature; if no adult answers, another attempt is made or the parcel is held. The store carries kosher wine and gourmet ranges without alcohol.

Answers for a sender in Denmark

Is a card from Denmark a problem?

Not at all. Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and JCB go through with a Danish billing address; the transaction is in CAD and your bank handles the exchange.

Does the recipient pay anything — customs, duty, delivery?

No. The gift is made and delivered inside Canada; there is no customs or import fee. Delivery is free on orders over $100 in the same-day zone; courier shipping is shown to you at checkout.

What's the same-day deadline?

11:00 a.m. Pacific on the day itself, for Vancouver and Lower Mainland addresses — the table above gives it in Denmark time. Other BC addresses: order by 2 p.m. Pacific and it ships that day, arriving in one to three business days.

Is alcohol allowed in the gift?

Yes, when the recipient is 19 or older. Photo ID is checked at the door and alcohol is never left unattended.

Nobody in — what then?

Our drivers leave it somewhere safe or with a neighbour and tell the recipient; a courier can use a safe place too. Alcohol is different: the delivery is re-attempted or held.

Where Denmark's gifts go

Same-day across Vancouver and the Lower Mainland — Surrey, North Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, Coquitlam and more — and courier to the rest of the province. Our busiest BC destinations each have their own page: Vancouver, New Westminster, West Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, Victoria.
